Ryme stops mid-sentence, staring with rapt attention at a spot just above Juliana’s left shoulder. Juliana automatically pivots to glance over her shoulder, only to see…well, nothing. On the video call, Ryme silently continues to trace her eyes further left, seemingly off-screen.
It’s the most unnerved that Juliana has ever felt in her life. She has never seen such a reaction from the gym leader before.

When the Blueberry Academy Art Club gives a mysterious painting to the League Club in the process of redecorating their club room, Juliana has a bad feeling when said painting blinks back at her. It becomes apparent that there is more to this painting than meets the eye when things quickly begin to unravel, leaving Juliana and Kieran bound by a curse that renders them inseparable.

“I’m sure you can look up what this is in a bloody book.” Draco’s skin crawled at the thought of explaining their newfound and horrendously ironic predicament aloud.
This time, he was the one to storm out of the library. And this time, the string let him leave her behind, quickly unravelling to accommodate their growing distance with each of his steps. Later that night, as he lay awake restlessly in his bed, Draco couldn’t help himself from toying with the thread tied permanently around his finger, connecting him to his infuriating, sanctimonious, and completely-sodding-wrong-for-him soulmate.
