Summary
If he had to go back in time to pinpoint just when he and Satoru got so comfortable with each other he doesn’t think he would be able to. He supposes it was probably a gradual thing, starting off as light touches, turning more lingering up until the point it was rarer to see them apart. Two halves of the same whole.
It’s such a casual thing now, Satoru hanging off of him, parts of each other always touching. Satoru was usually the one to initiate touch, but it wasn’t as if Suguru was pushing him away. He liked it.
Probably a bit more than he should.

Sonic’s chest was soft.
“Mhhn,” The cobalt hedgehog groaned, shifting in his half-sleep, and Shadow nuzzled closer, clinging tightly, nose pressed into peach fur.
He smelled of lavender and sleep. Shadow wondered if he could buy a candle or an air freshener to preserve it. He’d have to settle for stealing well-worn blankets.(Shadow felt so lucky. This feeling, of loving and being loved? He could drown in it, and the scariest part was that he wanted to)
