Summary

Spoilers for the end of part 5.
On the twelfth ring, his master emerged with a manic glint in his eyes. “I will not require my meal today,” he stated simply, then retreated back into the room before any more could be said.
Were this Ehrenfest, Eckhart would have simply resumed his guard duties without a second thought, changing off with the night guard after fifth bell. He would then return come morning, remaining at the door for the duration of his duties until Ferdinand emerged a good day or two later.
However, they were no longer in Ehrenfest.
Handing off the meal to the servant, he waited until they had left before reaching into his pouch to produce an ordonanze. This he tapped with his schtappe, forming a white bird, which he brought close to speak. “Aub Rozemyne, I must report a skipped meal.” The tool was sent off, then returned shortly after bearing his Aub’s—his sister’s—voice.
“I thank you ever so much.” The message repeated this three times before returning to the form of a feystone.

Summary

After enduring poisoning, blackmail, and Detlinde’s idiocy, the Royal Academy offers Theresia the chance to meet other Archduke Candidates who share some of her eclectic interests - and the means to escape the crumbling duchy once and for all. Even before the visitors from Lanzenave arrived, Ahrensbach began to rot from within. What happened that drove Ahrensbach to the brink, and how will Theresia carve out her own happiness in this unsympathetic world?
I was interested to explore a character outside of Rozemyne’s circle moving through noble society and experiencing some of the events of the series from a very different position. I’ve expanded the role of some of my favorite characters from the original series (like Adolphine), and I hope the OCs that I have created fit believably into Miya Kazuki's world!

Summary
Rumors abound across Yurgenschmidt about the new Aub Ahrensbach. A man colder than the God of Ice himself, they say. One who murdered his former fiance and her family and took over the duchy, claiming she had tried to conspire with Lanzenave to invade the Sovereignty. But now that the revolt has been crushed, Lord Ferdinand needs a wife to draw the support of Ahrensbach’s factions and legitimize his rule (at least, according to the Sovereignty he does).
Enter Rozemyne, former Aub Ahrensbach’s granddaughter and an archnoble from Klassenberg. Her previous engagement shredded, she travels to Ahrensbach, steeled against an unknown fate. But the road is full of dangers, and when her carriage is attacked by unknown assailants, she wakes up with memories of a mysterious world. Urano Motosu has no idea what is happening, but hopefully she can use Rozemyne’s memories to survive meeting her new fiance and maybe… find time to read a book or two?
