This is one of the works that takes your hand and walks with you though the darkness instead of beaming lights that just obfuscate with happiness when one's depressed.
I felt accompanied by this story, so toxic and unhappy and confusing with its moments of blurry happiness, much like how I was feeling at the moment, I saw myself in Peter, sometimes in Wade...

Summary
After his failed confrontation of Vader on Bespin, Luke finds himself trapped in the dingier side of Imperial-occupied Cloud City.
Losing hope of rescue and more alone than he ever had been before, Like finds himself growing bitter of it all. Loneliness is a disease, one that seems to be eating the Jedi from the inside out.
Leia, hands tied with tracking down the remaining Rebel fleets, hires a bounty hunter to rescue Luke before it’s too late.
Plagued by nightmares and intrusive conversations with his father, Luke finds that, in such a bleak galaxy, the Mandalorian tasked with bringing him home isn’t the worst company to be stuck with. Even if their time together is plagued by Stormtroopers, pain, uncertainty, and, of course, Darth Vader himself.
The Mandalorian comes to learn that getting on planet was the easy part— but getting off is next to impossible.
Still, he made a promise to bring Luke home safe, and that’s exactly what he’s determined to do. Even if the reward ends up being much more than the 50,000 credits he was promised.
