My Child. Don’t Struggle.
Nightmare screamed. A ripple of excruciating pain creeped up Nightmare’s spine and it was tearing him apart like a hunting hound. He kicked at the villagers and shouted miserable pleas of release yet the anguished torture failed to fall to a plesant stop.
The Axe-wielding Villager had struck the tree. Drowned distorted cheering boomed around the field and the tree creaked and groaned with every hit.

Nightmare’s eyelight glowered dimly at a black apple that had fallen down and knelt beside him. The apple glowered back in its own purple hue. Nightmare withdrew his hand from his face, his hands blanketed by smeared blood from his mouth as he shakily reached out to the apple.
