    “Then… what are you, exactly?” You question. “I don’t understand what a ‘wand spirit’ is supposed to be.” He stares at you, wide eyed. Maybe he didn’t expect that you’d change the subject, or maybe he’s trying to understand what you’re asking. You'd probably be at a loss for words if someone essentially asked what the purpose of your very existance was as well.

    “O-oh, um,” Karamatsu clears his throat. “As I said, I am Karamatsu. I am your companion, your confidant, guiding you through this new life as a magical girl- no… as Magical Glitter ⋆ Angel.”

    Did that clear anything up? Not really. From the little you do know of magical girl media, like the three, maybe four times you watched Sailor Moon while channel surfing late at night, you’ve come to assume that the ‘companion’ of a magical girl is normally a small animal of some sort. So... how do you end up with Karamatsu instead?

    “Sailor Moon had a talking cat but I got… an adult man?” Karamatsu’s eyes widen for a moment, then he grimaces quite threateningly at you. Seems you struck a nerve... whoopsies.
