Draco is happy with the life he's made for himself till a marriage law threatens to destroy it all by once more forcing the most annoying witch he's ever known back into his life.

“You’re my mate,” Draco whispered even though the voice in his head was so fucking loud.
Granger frowned. “What?”
“You. You’re my mate, the one my Veela has chosen.”
He expected her to be shocked, or angry, maybe exhibit a hefty dose of disbelief. He expected her to reveal a bunch of books proving him otherwise.
He didn’t expect to see her face crumple and look as if she was about to cry. “Malfoy, you don’t need to tease me.”

“Why would I tease you with this?” He asked.
She shifted in her seat. “It’s more believable. And if I am your mate, I know you don’t want me to be.”
“Granger, I am quite serious,” Draco said, reaching his hand across the desk, palm up. “Take my hand, please. Touch me.”Series
