Summary
Aether is a regular university student. He gets up 30 minutes before class and probably has stolen enough glasses from the dining hall to make a family set. He has some absolutely ridiculous roommates that compliment him perfectly, and the first semester of his second year is coming along as close to perfect as it can get.
The day of enrollment comes and passes, and Aether adjusts. Aether is the type to jump back from the worst. The second semester was going to be the best one yet, he'd make sure of that. But no matter how hard one tries, there are always ups and downs in life.

Summary
Albedo has long questioned the appearance of the massive pillar in Dragonspine. The mountains alone are a mystery to him... the intricate puzzles, the unreadable language, and the whispers left by the biting wind. Week after week his alchemy team lingers on in the frigid landscape, yearning for answers. Why was the traveler capable of piecing together the floating pillar? What secrets might the Lord Barbatos, and the other archons, know regarding its formation?
For the traveler, what message might this pillar convey of the past? For Albedo, Venti is the current lead into unlocking new horizons... but images of that fatal moment, of that woman who stole the sun to their moon, plague the traveler's mind. Dainsleif's old reminiscing of Khaenri'ah is an eery, clear ring of a bell.

“...Hollander,” He hears Rozanov say, urgent like it’s not the first time he’s said it. “Shane,” he follows it up with, and that snaps him out of it. He’s never called him that. Shane, reluctantly, lifts his face a little, eyes glazed over as he meets Rozanov’s eyes.
“What?”
“You stink,” Rozanov says, concern dripping. “No, you—fuck. You reek. What is—” Ilya’s fingers lift up, tugging at the scent patch, revealing more of the spot beneath it. Even Shane can smell himself at that point. He does reek. Reeks of heat, of Omega, of honey and sweetness, of something that would melt on your tongue.
Shane reefs himself back. The Omega inside him aches, mourns, whimpers at the loss of contact. It’s needed, though. He scrambles back, hand slapping at his neck to force the peeled patch back down over his scent gland. He backs up till his spine knocks against the bathroom stall.
“You are in heat at award show? Why would you hide this? Why would you not call out sick? Are you—are you insane? You care this much about trophy?”

To his unbridled horror, Wei Wuxian sees his face up on the giant screen in real time for the entire stadium to see. Still laughing as his face takes a moment to catch up with the sheer mortification he’s feeling, A-Yuan perched on his shoulders as the Lan Wangji cape drapes over them.

“—scenes from the stands here, this dad and his son making for an adorable twosome all decked out in support for local hero Lan Wangji—”
“—Speaking of, our man seems to have taken a little tumble—”
Wei Wuxian finds Lan Wangji on the field. The ball is nowhere near him but he seems to have fallen inexplicably backwards, sitting on the grass as he looks up at the giant screen.
Right up at the footage of him.
(AU where A-Yuan is professional footballer Lan Wangji's biggest fan, and his babysitter Wei Wuxian wants nothing more than to forget his days as the photographer of their school football team, calling out to the captain from the stands just so he'd look around at him.)
