Summary
After his ruts become too much to bear alone, Draco resigns himself to finding a rut assistant—an omega who will offer aid him twice yearly, when he cannot prevent the cycle any longer. It's meant to be a business arrangement, organised by the most highly rated clinic in the country. He doesn't realise just how intimate it can be to spend a rut with an omega and, even though he's warned of it ahead of time, he finds himself becoming attached.
The only problem? His omega has a past of her own, reasons for keeping him at a distance. Whether or not a connection exists between them, Hermione is unwilling to even entertain the idea of anything more than a professional relationship. However, in spite it all, Draco remains undeterred.

It’s too difficult to not imagine the diamond ring he would present to her, the wedding dress she might wear, and how it would feel to expand his family, giving Scorpius a younger sibling.
