Summary
There are lots of facts of life, but only a few of them mattered, at least to Nam-gyu. He didn’t care about all that adult stuff. He could care about that later. Not that “later” was that far away, he had about half a year left of high school before he was supposed to enter the “real world” as his mother put it. But that’s besides the point. Nam-gyu only cared about a certain amount of facts.
Fact #1: Everyone’s addicted to something.
Take Nam-gyu himself as an example. He’d done a lot of self reflecting over the winter break. And he’d come to the conclusion that he is indeed an addict. Well he already kinda knew that.

Nam-gyu tries to enter the new year with hope for something good. But immediately things get weird, and soon things take a turn for the worse.

Namgyu takes his craft very seriously.
Really, he does. Unlike some people, who sign up for these gigs just for the chance to get close to famous people, he actually gives a shit about the art of dance. He didn’t spend his teenage years re-training every muscle in his body to move with precision just to look pretty on camera. He didn’t spend four years busting his ass learning a dozen different dance styles at Chugye University for the Arts just to have a piece of paper to decorate his wall with. He’s got bunions on his toes the likes of which would make a grown man cry. He’s seen grown men cry at the sight of him bending into an oversplit. He is, and has always been, a serious dancer.
It’s just that Thanos is very distracting. Namgyu flinches when, for the third time in a row, his foot makes contact with Thanos’s chin.

Namgyu gets hired to be a background dancer in Thanos's latest music video. Problems arise when he comes to find that Thanos is way hotter and way more endearing than his rap persona lets off.
