"Don't think for too long. Got people waiting." Robby spoke, drawing their attention, "Let's see… Santos why don't you take the lady in North 3, took a fall down some stairs. Javadi, head to South 4 for nausea and vomiting."
"Got it."
"Yep."
"And Whitaker—" He glanced over at the man, body freezing as soon as his gaze dragged down to the red line that trailed up from the floor, looping around Whitaker's pinky and tied into a neat little knot.
"Um—" His heart jumped in his chest as he tried to scramble for words to say. He shook his head to clear the sudden cacophony of urgent thoughts that entered his mind, "Whitaker. Join Langdon in trauma one."
The younger man sent him a quick nod, turning to rush off, only to pause as Robby cleared his throat and added, "And come back to find me later."

Robby wanted nothing more than to walk around the truck and make the guy roll down his window so he could throw as many punches as he could before taking Dennis far away from there.
Instead Robby kept his gaze on Dennis, eyes pleading.
Dennis looked back at Robby with sad eyes. “I have student loan payments due… I…”
“I’ll pay you double what he will. Triple even,” Robby spoke quietly as he stepped closer to Dennis, “Whatever it takes to bring you home with me.”
