Summary
Rewatching Luca with my family reminded me of a head cannon I had, which was the schism between the humans and the sea creatures must have been semi recent. The sea creatures speak Italian and have Italian family names, why would they still be using that if the two cultures had never fully interacted before. Below is my idea that around the industrial revolution was when things went south between the two groups.

I just never had anywhere to share it before, so yes it’s now lore inaccurate but I decided to leave it as is, a time capsule to my own pondering on how the series would play out.

Summary
Like most fan fiction this story starts with a simple what if. What would happen if MJ and Peter had kids young and Peter hadn’t told MJ his secret yet. This story is told from their daughter’s point of view. This is also not meant to represent any one Spider-Man timeline, and I wanted to write my own story so it’s not closely following any one cannon either. Just please sit back and enjoy the ride without being too critical.
