That catches Tokitou’s interest, his eyebrows raising slightly. “You’re not a very good spy. You didn’t even attack us.”
“I panicked, okay? I’ve never been a spy before.” Genya runs his hand through his mohawk agitatedly. “It’s not like I wanna hurt you guys.”

Genya’s story throughout the timeline of “Saudade,” where the Twelve Moons yakuza terrorize the citizens of Tokyo, and the Hashira are the only gang strong enough to fight against them.
Rejected by both his brother and his potential boyfriend, Genya goes undercover in the Blood Demons gang, who work under the Twelve Moons, to prove that he can protect others alongside Sanemi by unveiling the identity of the yakuza leader.
