    Pokemon Legends Z-A, but what if Urbain and Taunie both existed and were twins? And even then, what if our protagonists Paxton and Harmony were not only siblings, but siblings looking for a new place to belong and call their own?

    From friendships, a little romance, the threat consuming Kalos, teamwork and personal struggles, how would Team MZ fare in a universe where there's more of them, but there's also more problems that come with it?

    (Paxton and Harmony are pretty much OCs, while Urbain and Taunie will split dialogue options and will take a twist from their characterizations in canon to differentiate them. Tags will be added upon story revelations and arcs.)

    “You’ll love it, darl!” Her mother said. “It’ll be a wonderful experience."

    That was what Harmony's mother had said before shipping her off to Kalos with a travel bag, and 1000 dollars.

    Now, she was stuck in Lumiose for who knows how long, and has to make a new life in the sparkling city.

    Along the way, she'll find friends in places she'd never guess, get adopted into a family of unlikely teenagers with their parent as a 3000 year old grandpa, and try get to Rank A, so she can get her wish granted to go back home.

    (But who knows? She might discover something even better.)

    When Paxton first decided to vacation in Lumiose City for a few months, he expected to see the sights, sample authentic Kalosian cuisine, and maybe make a few friends. He didn’t expect to be given a Pokémon, he definitely didn’t expect to be caught up in something that he was fairly certain was supposed to be a secret for regional security purposes, and he certainly didn’t expect to fall in love. Though maybe he should’ve; Lumiose may be known interregionally as the City of Light, but another common name for it was the City of Love.

    Granted, it taking one of his friends getting in debt to the mob for him to figure out that he was in love was a bit strange.

And Harmony had started to crack with the city, the pressure pulling her apart from the inside. The pressure of being summoned—not chosen—to serve as the city’s pawn. The pressure of holding it together, of not being allowed to fall apart. And when her safe place turned cold, she started to spiral.

    Beneath it all was still love—a love so strong it had twisted into damage out of fear. A love so sincere it shielded itself with distance as an act of self-defence. And a nightmare from the past so terrifying it clawed its way back into the present.

    At 13, Serena became the Kalos League Champion, rocketing her into stardom, fame, and glory. Unable to settle down permanently in Kalos just yet, possibly (probably) due to trauma, Serena heads to Hoenn under the guise of studying the origins of Mega Evolution, only briefly returning to Kalos to handle Champion affairs when absolutely needed.

    Five years later, after seeing a very odd promotional video for Hotel Z, Serena is stunned. AZ, the 3,000-year-old giant homeless senile war criminal who interrupted her Champion parade, owned a HOTEL?! Serena decides that a stay in Lumiose is in order immediately. What was supposed to be a drop-in visit quickly spirals into another massive undertaking, featuring a wide array of new and fun colorful megalomaniacs, and training a brand new team.

    At least this time, it was just the fate of Lumiose on the line, not the destruction of the entire world and every life form on it. Small victories.
