The battle was over, and Thorin Oakenshield awoke, naked and shivering, in the Halls of his Ancestors.
The novelty of being dead fades quickly, and watching over his companions soon fills him with grief and guilt. Oddly, a faint flicker of hope arises in the form of his youngest kinsman, a Dwarf of Durin's line with bright red hair.
(Follows the story of the War of the Ring).
(Bagginshield, Gimli/Legolas) In which recovery takes time, the dead members of the Company take to watching Gimli as though he’s a soap opera, the living struggle with being left behind, Legolas is confused, Khuzdul is abused, and Thorin is four feet and ten inches of guilt and anger.

Ori of the Brothers Ri is a freelance scribe in the poorest part of the City of Dale. He rushes to rescue his trouble-making elder brother Nori and finds a life, romance and food in the Mountain among royalty. Dori has secrets! And there’s nothing like a fairy-tale of scandal and lost nobility! The story is completely from Ori’s point of view. Expect appearances from Thror, Frerin (who is an utterly spoiled brat - apologies to Frerin worshipers), Lady Galadriel, Thranduil and practically everyone else. This is totally safe for Dain fans!
Smaug never hatched and Isildur listened to Elrond (somebody has to) and the one Ring no longer exists. Sauron is just a bad guy with orc armies.
There are some serious bits, but mostly it’s just a lively romp with food. Did we mention the food?Series

Summary
Upon Harry's 15th birthday things occur that bring some things to light that were not expected in the least. Truths are revealed and memories emerge that shock him and the rest of the magical world.
With the help of his seven closest he'll end the threat to the magical world before traveling through space and time into a new world and ending the threat to the free peoples of Middle Earth with the help of 14 in that world. He'll gather other allies in the magical world that will remain behind to make the changes needed to restore magic to what it was in the past.
What changes can happen by having the support of heart family and one's soulmate in not only the magical world but Arda as well? -

Summary
It is a common misconception amongst those who know him, that Rían went looking for trouble. This is not true. He would peacefully live in the forest, spending all day conversing with the trees and watching the clouds pass by with his family at his side, if he could.
Unfortunately, trouble had a way of finding him, no matter where he was. And he was never quite able to turn away from those in need. Some might say that it's a bad habit. That he shouldn't risk his life for complete strangers.
But to Rían, helping people was as second nature as breathing.
This is how he found himself as the only Elf within a company of Dwarves that have an impossible task. Thus beginning a journey that would shape the future of all of Middle-Earth.

Summary
Bilbo never mentioned that Hobbits hibernate during the winter, and that Hobbits tend to sleep like the dead. So when the Company find Bilbo next to Thorin's body, cold and with no detectable pulse, they assume that Bilbo is dead.
Some weeks into Bilbo's hibernation, the Company Burglar wakes to get himself a snack, only to find himself in his own tomb. When Thorin discover that the tomb has one very live Hobbit inside...well, there isn't much resting in peace for one tomb.
