Abed had given Jeff a shrewd look. The kind he pulls out sometimes when he seems to know more than he’s saying but isn’t sure how to express it. After a moment of eye contact, Abed had shrugged carelessly. “I’m just saying that makes him a viable love interest now.”

Why hasn't he considered chasing after Craig from the start? The man is desperate, bashful, overenthusiastic, and finds him downright irresistible. Those qualities have elicited a quirked brow from him now and then, but they're the perfect ones for him to take advantage of with a law degree in the picture. He could accept Craig's "night of companionship" offer, grin and bear it through whatever it is he may have planned, and be on the right track to getting his degree faster than he can count to ten.
