Summary
Karkat rose, shakily to his feet, holding out the stolen blade before him. He couldn’t go down without a fight, willing his tired legs to hold his weight.

The man opened his mouth, most likely to tell Karkat to halt or to call for backup. But whatever he was going to say was drowned out by the sour twist to the mutant's face as he felt the familiar feeling of his own stomach churning and sweat prickling at the skin. He couldn’t do much as the edges of his vision began to darken and his legs gave up his weight. The exhaustion, pain, and fever had finally caught up with him. the fight was over.
