Summary
Wind is no stranger to monsters.
Two adventures taught him more than any boy ought to know about them. About the way they fight, the way they think. About what it takes to make a monster.
This third adventure wants to test that. All across time there are monsters that are worse than they ought to be. Stronger. Smarter. Faster. Harder and harder to kill.
Still, Wind is no stranger to monsters. Which is why when a ninth Link joins the Chain, he knows that there is something… wrong.
Something very, very wrong.

Paper chains in black and purple were strung up amongst the rafters, evenly spaced and hung with such precision that it could only have been Blue's handiwork. Balloons and confetti cover almost every surface except the coffee table, where Red had gone all out with a two tier chocolate cake. For a second, Vio thinks that maybe his brothers had been well intentioned when volunteering to decorate for the party.
