In Ho slaps a file down on the desk in front of him before continuing to rummage through drawers, pulling out several folders; yellow paper ones chocked full of photos from crime scenes, photos which Gi Hun already felt queasy just thinking about.
He cautiously reaches for the file, flipping it open in his lap and sifting through the stack of documents. Autopsy reports, crime scene descriptions, victim outlines; He was already starting to get overwhelmed.
He’s pulled from his thoughts by In Ho’s voice, scornful and mocking, “So, officer, what do you see that hundreds of our best analysts have supposedly missed?” He stands over Gi Hun, watching him like a predator might observe its prey, “Since this… perspective of yours is so vital.”
Gi Hun takes a slow breath, letting the comments roll off his back and continuing to scan over the file. But In Ho, of course, isn’t one to let up, “Understand everything?” He mocks, leaning into Gi Hun’s eyeline, “Need me to… read it out loud for you?”

Summary
In-ho is a young assassin looking for work, scraping together funds to support his brother and stepmom when he stumbles into a deal- kill the son of Seoul's biggest holdings CEO and walk away with a stack of cash that could keep them stable for years.
It all seems easy enough until he actually sees the guy, sweet, selfless, a bit of an idiot, preferring to wander around and feed stray cats instead of preparing for his future as another gear in the corporate machine.

Summary
An office AU. Boss In-ho and a desperate jobless Gi-hun.
"Sit. Eat this," he ordered. Gi-hun hesitated, but sat down, opening the luxurious box with a raised eyebrow, checking for confirmation.
In-ho gave him a nod of approval. Gi-hun, now completely at ease, smiled and dug in, eating with no shame or hesitation. The sight of him devouring the food without a care in the world was almost... amusing.
In-ho chuckled quietly, his gaze following Gi-hun’s every move. The man's cheeks were full, like a hamster storing food. Cute, In-ho thought.
An idea sparked in his mind; one he hadn’t expected to consider before this moment.
“Would you mind being my pet?”
Or Gi-Hun taking the job being In-ho's pet.

Summary
After the end of the games, In-ho struggles to move on and cope with the death of Gi-hun. Eventually succumbing to the weight of his guilt, he is granted another chance to set things right, sending him back to the beginning of Red-light, Green-light.
OR Time travel fix-it, but it was never going to be that easy.

Summary
In-ho has one chance to convince Gi-hun to join him as his right-hand-man, or else the VIPs want him dead. He agrees.
Because In-ho is right. The rebellion didn't work. It was never going to work. The players are simply too far removed from the people really in charge. Even killing the Front Man would only result in a replacement Front Man. But as the Front Man's protégé, Gi-hun can make a difference. He can do what he can for the players from above, rather than below. He can investigate the gold-masked men. He can scheme.
There's light in the darkness. In-ho helps Gi-hun get Ga-yeong back. He teaches him how to fight, how to survive in this deadly world. Slowly, slowly, they begin to trust each other. (The kissing happens long before the trust.)
Gi-hun uses his new power, undreamt of in his old life, to do what he never did before: think only of others. And the luxury helps, the high-end alcohol helps, but of course he's still tortured by guilt. But at least they're tortured together, and take sanctuary in each other. Gi-hun gets to fight in favor of the players; In-ho gets to not be alone. They both got what they wanted.
Begins immediately following the events of S2.
