As you embark on this journey with with your squad, a mission given to you by the Wizard King it seems, the issues of your past bubble to the surface. You knew you could not run from them forever. A satisfying fling with you captain blossoms into more, you come to grow in your magic and power with the help of your friends, and you find yourself at odds with this new life you ran to.
Y/N is a "foreigner" in the Clover Kingdom. This story is pre-Asta, some characters act different than they do in the original work, generally pretty canon in magical abilities though you are of course the exception, and there are mentions of a past BAD relationship.
