    Summary

In this version of the story, Aerion Targaryen does not meet Duncan the Tall during Tanselle Too-Tall’s puppet show.
Instead, he meets someone else. Someone harsher. Someone who leaves scars.
A single moment changes everything. A humiliation he never forgets. A choice made in anger. A road walked alone.
Far from the court and the person he once was, Aerion learns how to survive without trusting anyone.
When Duncan the Tall finally appears, nothing is the way it was meant to be. The prince is no longer the same. Neither is the world around him.
Meanwhile, Daeron Targaryen is haunted by visions of loss, convinced that loving Valarr Targaryen can only lead to tragedy.
This is a story of slow healing, quiet yearning, and love that has to be earned.
Because some love stories don’t begin with hope. They begin with damage. And they take time to mend.

    Summary

“Yield.” Aerion's voice was low, a threat.

    Duncan’s eyes shot open. “W-What?”

“I said, yield.” The Dragon Prince leaned down, pulling Duncan’s hands behind his back in a brace, his lips inches away from the others ear. “Yield to me. Now.” A long tongue darted out, dipping inside Duncan’s ear obscenely.

Dunk the lunk gets his trial by seven, but loses. Indebted to Aerion, he has no choice but to do as he’s bid, lest his head be on the line.

    Summary

As is well known, the last dragon to walk the earth died many years ago, taking with it the quality that made House Targaryen seem almost divine.
Yet this truth is not as absolute as history books might have led us to believe.
    -
Dunk has never seen a dragon before.

He knew, of course, they existed. Anyone in Kingslanding did. Yet despite having been born in flea bottom, he had never once catch a glimpse of those scaly creatures. Dragons seem unreachable, creatures of stories and legends not something you could see everyday.

He never bothered much to think about them; after all, what were the chances of encountering a Targeryen while being a hedge knight?

    OR

What if dragon never truly disappeared from Westeros? Just learned to wear human flesh?
Lets find out how much of a menace could Aerion be if he actually had wings and scales.
