‘In a single instant, everything changed.’
When people say those words, it’s rarely taken seriously. An exaggeration some would call it – a grand overstatement and magnification for the mass of a jeering audience. Perhaps a punchline for a newspaper article, headlined in bold, black ink.
But your ‘single instant’ was, so to speak, very much a reality. And it started the way most distributed media articles do – grimly. Horrifically.
The more you thought about it, oh, and think you did, the more it resonated with you. Your life was an essay; an attention grabber. One tragedy after another typed out in Times New Roman and stamped in size twelve; double-spaced for ease of sight.
A white van, inlaid with tinted windows, a gun in the back of your spine…and a man with nothing visible but a pair of brown eyes that glinted amber from under a balaclava.
That was the instant, you knew, and then everything had changed.
It would have been kinder to take the bullet.

First, I planed to write a pure smutty smut. But somehow, I wrote 5k words about reader being a MI6 spy, Simon's first love being accidentally caught undercover as member of terrorist group. There is smut included, but it's more angsty and fluffy.

Summary
Notoriously known as cold-blooded and sociopathic, Sergeant Frost is reassigned to a new task force after another mission goes wrong. Amidst more disastrous missions and the struggle to integrate into the new team, she deals with a series of relentless challenges life throws her way. One challenge in particular becomes hard to overcome as it comes in the form of a blue-eyed Scotsman whose effortless charisma and irritating wit not only catch her attention but also begin to change her entire perspective on life. While she’s dealing with life's turmoil, a stoic lieutenant adds fuel to the fire once he catches himself finding comfort in her company.

Summary

That was the idea, anyway. Two operatives with shadowy pasts, meeting in the darkness between missions, perhaps it was inevitable. Ghost meets her every few months for one night, but, even though he knows he should not, this time he finds himself wondering when they will meet again.
