After the Navy was dismantled due to GHQ’s radical reforms, Mitsuhashi, a former Navy Lieutenant who had been demobilized, found work with the municipal police in his hometown of Yokohama. One day, he reunites with Sakai, a comrade from his time at the Naval Academy.
