Summary
A simple take on the whole Izuku is the suspected traitor of the U.A., more focused on the consequences and an alternative route on how those events could happen if certain circumstances allowed it.
To get people in a reasonable time frame. Izuku was jailed after the internships and was interrogated again before the Kamino battle. So he was pretty much out of the story up until the jailbreak by AFO.
That means that Kota and Eri are unfortunately dead. Izuku was not there to save them, and if you believe that Mirio holding OFA is going to save the poor Eri from Overhaul's hands, then I am sorry, but that won't happen here.
