“What the hell is this?” Hands on her hips, Zoya surveyed the scene in front of her with the same grim look she used to stare down her enemies in the battlefield.
Nikolai tilted his face up to her, a perfectly ripe strawberry poised halfway to his mouth. He lounged on the blanket at her feet, the late afternoon sunlight caught in his golden hair, and his lips were stained red with juice. The whole picture was unfairly tempting, and it made Zoya want to scowl.
