There's no rest for the Hero of Alrest. With his companions moving on, Rex has his own goals to accomplish and a life to adjust to in their changed world. At the heart of all of that are three women he couldn't imagine life without now.
'The House That Rex Built' is a post-game continuation project linking Xenoblade 2 and 3 together. Expect romance, adventure, diplomacy, exploration, old friends, new faces, former foes and emerging enemies as the world of Alrest develops and changes after the final gift of the Architect.

Summary
The world of Smash Bros. used to be a universe where fighters from across the entire video game multiverse could come together and have a light-hearted, high stakes yet enjoyable tournament together to determine the greatest fighter in all of the multiverse. Unfortunately, that changed one day when the infrastructure was overthrown. Now, the world is a totalitarian stronghold, feeding propaganda to its people and viewers across the multiverse while also seeking power and control over all of the people and attendees. A young boy by the name of Ness is trying to get to the bottom of how to free the people and have them be allowed to head back to their home universes, while also trying to find and save his long-lost best friend: Lucas. Will the boy in the red cap accomplish his goals? Or, will he suffer the consequences at the hands of the brave new world? Only time will tell.
Rating: T for Teen, due to violence, bloodshed, and occasionally graphic imagery.

“You’ve said that, said at the end the real him shone through,” Fiora watches the way Shulk shifts, and grabs his hand, giving in a squeeze. She knows what her friend must be thinking, and she wants to support him however she can. “...Vanea, what exactly led him to what he was before that? To what he became?”
Vanea pauses for a moment. “Do you truly wish to know?”
Shulk nods.
“And you, Fiora?”
“Yes,” Fiora admits. “I want to know more about him. I may have Meyneth’s memories, but… I don’t know how he fell into that despair. I want… I want to understand.”
Vanea nods this time. “I will give you one more chance to say no, Shulk. Given what led to it… it may be hard for you to hear.”
“If it’s about Arglas… about Zanza…” Fiora squeezes his hand again as he trails off. “I want to know. No, I should know. I should know who came before me, and honor his memory, however I can. Arglas lost himself to Zanza, I could’ve lost myself if I wasn’t careful…”
“Shulk,” Fiora frowns, “don’t force yourself.”
“I want to know.” He concludes, looking at Vanea. “Please, tell me.”

Summary
Shulk was four when he died to an unjust god. He was eighteen when he died sooner than expected and left that god and his sword to Fiora.
Fiora, with the sword that hurt her brother on her back and Reyn at her side, has to untangle what lies ahead, whether she wants to or not.
