Summary
Dream’s life is nothing grand. It’s basic college life, a leafy campus accentuated by old brick buildings, splotchy grass fields turned brown in the coming winter months. His life has never been anything spectacular, and Dream was fine with that. The monotony of his every day kept him alive, and it kept him going.
Wake up. Drink coffee, skip breakfast. Go to class, clean Mr. Blade’s classroom, study in the library. Head home, hang out with friends, dinner, then sleep.
Repeat.
There was no conflict in his life, no person of interest. And that was fine.
Well, actually, there is one person.
George Davidson was Dream’s enemy.
And now he was standing in his kitchen.
—
George is better than Dream, at everything. That infuriates Dream, but at least he can keep it isolated to his time in class. That is, until he discovers George is moving in as his new roommate, and he's suddenly forced to face his emotions head on.
