The dim yellow glow of a lone street lamp flickered, only partially illuminating a pair of legs and the dark pool of blood oozing from them. A car drove by, headlights briefly revealing fragments of a gruesome scene- viscera splattered low on the brick walls, a pitchfork skewered through a pale neck, a rictus of terror plastered on a lifeless face. And behind the windows of the flats above, the residents slept on.
