Summary
"Hello, everyone," The man walked to the front of the classroom and placed the same papers he'd been scribbling furiously on to the top wood polish of the front desk, "As you may have guessed, I'm not Professor Waiman. He had something to attend to today."
Wait- The university Gen attended was a small prestigious school in Texas. There were only so many Asian students, and he was sure he met all of them.
And then the floor was ripped out from under him.

Summary
“Regardless, your mentalism seems to have failed you, Mr. Gen. I assure you, Stanley and I are simply good friends.” Xeno looks over at Gen then, studying the way his legs are draped over Senku’s lap. His eyes find Gen and Senku’s intertwined hands.
Xeno nods approvingly at whatever he sees. “Not unlike you and Senku.”
Gen nearly chokes on his own spit.
The Kingdom of Science has certain assumptions regarding Xeno and Stanley's relationship. Too bad they've vastly overestimated the emotional intelligence of one Xeno Houston Wingfield.

In their defense, they thought it was pretty obvious.
The Kingdom of Science may have maxed out their Intelligence stat; but, they rolled a 1 on Perception. Or, in other words, they might not have noticed the change in relationship between one scientist and one mentalist.
Sure, they could just tell them. But, where would be the fun in that?
