So absorbed in his thoughts, he didn’t notice that his uncle had begun explaining something to the class. Then he realized Odasaku was looking at the new student while moving his hands deliberately. Dazai frowned slightly. What’s he doing? Playing charades?
The new boy seemed to understand, because he moved to sit right next to Dazai. The latter froze, unsure how to react. He actually understood that?
He thought for a few seconds, then an idea crossed his mind. It looks like sign language…He knew Odasaku had learned sign language and mastered it. His uncle had taught him the basics, but Dazai had never taken the time to go further.
He shot another glance at the redhead, who was already focused on his notebook. Wait… could he be…?

Chuuya is a deaf student, and Dazai will do everything he can to communicate with him ^^

Summary
