    Yet here he is, on his knees, collar in mouth, hiding in the hallway and wondering what would be the best way to approach George. 

    George buys a collar as a joke. Max takes it seriously.

    I’m yours whenever you want it, Max thinks, though he doesn’t say so out loud. He can’t let George have too much control too quickly.

    “How sweet, Max,” George coos, voice strained with effort. Max is glad to hear he’s not the only one being affected here. “You actually think I still want you.”
