Summary
Jared Kleinman isn’t exactly lonely. He has some friends. Although his closest friend, and the boy he planned on having as his mate, has been stolen from him by Connor Murphy. Their relationship makes him ill (literally, he’s thrown up from the scent they give off). He has to find a way to get the two of them apart so he can take what’s rightfully his.
Alana Beck isn’t lonely either. Enough people know of her that she has to have some friends. That’s what everyone else thinks. The Connor Project was the first time people payed attention to her, to each other. So sue her if she keeps up with the Connor Project even after he came back to school, very much alive. It’s about the message. She’s not obsessed with Connor Murphy at all! She just wants to give him her thanks, for all his perceived suicide did for her. She can’t ever actually do that considering Evan Hansen is ALWAYS around Connor. She has to find a way to break them apart to be able to even talk to Connor.
TLDR: Jared and Alana share a common goal, an Evan and Connor break-up, and the two of them will do whatever it takes to complete that goal.
