Summary

Summary
The man standing to one side of the bamboo house is not his husband.
It's Luo Binghe, of course. It's the same bearing, the same hair, the same red zuiyin on his forehead. But this Luo Binghe isn't his husband, because the sword he carries at his hip is Xin Mo, covered in so many talismans that there's hardly any of the blade left but paper, and beneath the robe fastened with an imperial belt, he's… wearing a black crew-neck T-shirt?.... or, Shen Qingqiu is having a peaceful morning with his son, except that the Luo Binghe who appears isn't his Luo Binghe. Luo Binghe is there to offer him a deal and, also, to give him more than Shen Qingqiu ever dreamed of getting back.

Shen Qingqiu felt the exact moment when his heart stopped beating and when the world stopped breathing.
Luo Binghe’s face, his precious white lotus’s face, grinned down at him.
His blood pressure rose steadily.
“You motherfucking useless piece of horse shit,” Shen Qingqiu snarled, jabbing a finger in the SYSTEM’s direction. “Why the fucking hell are you using his face?! Change it!”
The SYSTEM eyed the offending finger with nothing but pure amusement. The smug grin grew into a warm smile as it? He? Replied, “Long time no see, Esteemed Host.”
(In the midst of Luo Binghe still marinating in the Abyss, Shen Qingqiu’s SYSTEM accidentally manifested on the physical plane as Bingzu. And only Shen Qingqiu could see him.)
