Returning to his hometown after being exonerated from his false conviction, Akira tried to put the past year behind him. With a train ticket and packed bags, it was official: his wings were clipped. His life had peaked. All there was to do now was ride down the other side, away from all the connections he'd made.
At least it would be an opportunity for some degree of normalcy. In this sleepy little town, there were no surprises... Or much of anything for that matter.
Or so he thought. Turns out life had a funny way of working out sometimes.

Summary
In a chariot that's traveling in the general direction of the Free City of Ul'Dah, an unknown fighter is ready to join the local Adventurer's Guild and fight for Eorzea against the Ascian menace. Although things get more complicated than they should, when it turns out that the new adventurer follows a different set of rules: while everyone is using magic thanks to the energy of the Aether, this self proclaimed "hunter" abuses a bizarre blood magic and an insight out of the ordinary.
Is Eorzea ready to accept the help of Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower?Still updated, but I won't try to guess when the next chapter will appear. Sorry about this.
