Summary
The Creature has spent almost a year alone in the woods, surviving on his own. He has named himself Adam and has become a source of terror for villagers. He does not mean any harm, though. He only wants one thing. To be reunited with his Maker and be granted a single grace: a companion. Another like himself.
Meanwhile, Victor has kept himself busy to forget the heartache of losing Elizabeth to his own brother and also his own narcissism. He has lost a leg but that has not stopped him from starting his work all over again. His new experiment is a thing to behold: soft and delicate, death in the shape of a girl.
