Summary
Changbin, nearing forty years old, doesn't get paid enough as a store manager to care if some shitty college kids were stealing from him. In fact, he cared so little that he watched the same blond boy come in twice a week and very obviously steal some cheap, shitty food before walking away.
He never planned on confronting the kid, but when his mouth worked faster than his brain, Changbin somehow found himself with a new son. The boy - Hyunjin - seemed to instantly take a liking to the more paternal vibes the man seemed to give off, and Changbin just wanted to help this clearly too thin, too stressed boy. Maybe it because Hyunjin reminded him of someone he lost, but all he knew was that he liked seeing Hyunjin happy.
The last thing he expected to deal with, however, was fighting with himself over the morality of finding his newly acquired son extremely and almost painfully attractive. It certainly didn't help that Hyunjin seemed to enjoy flirting with and flustering him every step of the way...

Backdrop of this fic is a post Season 12 finale AU. Crowley died to trap Lucifer, but Cas made it out. He took Jack and got away from the Winchesters because, nothing had changed, the Winchesters wanted to remove Jack’s grace, and when that didn’t work out, wanted him dead. While on the run he encountered Juliet the hellhound who was grieving for Crowley. Cas, Juliet and Jack hid from the world in a remote cabin in the woods, but the world would not leave them alone. They dealt with Asomodeus, the angels, and another encounter with the Winchesters. They fought to live freely as who they were, and with the family they deserved.
