Summary
Nancy had been working at the lame little ice cream place at the mall for barely a week. She never held any hopes that it would be a gratifying or personally stimulating job, let alone that it would help her on her dreams of dedicating herself to journalism full time until she was successful enough to get out of Hawkins and even Indiana someday. However, she’d never expected it to be as bad as it was.
Long story short, Nancy couldn’t wait to get rid of her Scoops Ahoy coworker, Robin Buckley.

Summary
Four years. Nancy hasn’t been home in four years. But now, freshly graduated from Emerson, she has returned home for good. The air is stale, her memories are tainted, she has nightmares that haunt her sleep. While she is able to reconnect with Steve, there is one person that she left behind that she might not be able to fix amends with.
Robin. They had something, everything, together before Nancy left. But out of fear, Nancy broke things off with the girl. However, Nancy never stopped missing Robin and she spent every day for the past four years thinking about her.
Will her return home be enough to bring them back together or has the romantic bond between them sailed off forever.

Summary
Robin Buckley adores San Francisco, but the city only seems to reciprocate the feeling when she's wearing the facade of someone else. Her disc jockey persona on the local radio station is a hit, her band's been getting booked for gigs, and her occasional forays into vigilantism have been met with a mostly warm reception so far. But during the moments in between when she's just Robin, truly just Robin, the city seems apathetic to her at best.
For Nancy Wheeler, the city seems almost too eager to gain her favor. But she's determined to leave it behind, along with the glimpses of an old friend she keeps seeing in her periphery.
Even in the vast footprint of San Francisco, the two girls have an unfortunate habit of running into one another.

“How are you comfortable like that?” Nancy asked, looking through the dark at how Robin layed perfectly still on her back, hands steepled atop her stomach.
After a few moments, Robin answered hesitantly for a second before the words started pouring out, “I’m not, I normally sleep on my side but there isn’t much space-” Nancy grabbed her hand, endlessly endeared, and turned. She pulled Robin’s arm around her waist so that she was spooning her, winding their fingers together where Robin's arm fell naturally at her stomach.
“There.” She murmured softly.
“Right. Thanks. That's perfect- I mean- not perfect just- better,” Robin choked out. Nancy could feel her heart hammering against her back.
She smiled.
