It turned out to be not such a great idea after all. Wei Ying should have listened to that uneasy twinge inside his chest as soon as Su She ordered them to enter the haunted house separately. He should have known from the smug look on his face and the whispers and the snickering that they were planning something so sinister.
Hell, he should have never agreed to come in the first place.
And yet, here he was, trembling on the ground with soil under his fingernails and tears streaming down his cold cheeks.

It is not, he soon found out—standing inside the lobby of a studio lit by soft, warm light and faced with a beautiful man in well-worn, rumpled clothing and with a lopsided bun on top of his head, wrapped up in a fuzzy blanket and wearing no shoes at all—an acupuncturist.
