After many months of dating, Okabe finally books an overpriced plane ticket to see his beloved assistant... But disaster strikes. As if the hundreds of dollars the plane ticket cost him weren't enough, staying at a hotel for so long would run him into nothing but bankruptcy! Luckily, his unrivaled charisma and chivalry (also known as plenty of begging) got him to convince Kurisu to let him crash at her place.
Kurisu, however, has one major goal she plans to fulfill during his stay:
Get Okabe to make a move on her already!

Be it the dictionary definition, or a philosophical view on this simple word with such a complicated meaning- it’s something no human can achieve. One can strive for perfection, but one will never truly attain it, for humanity and all that it can create will always be flawed.Makise Kurisu was well aware of this, yet something always struck her as odd. Perfection was just a theory- a hypothesis- yet… Somehow it now seemed like it was closer to her than she had ever imagined it to be.

Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to be sleeping too well...“Shhh…” she whispered, “it’s okay, Okabe. It’s okay. I’m here. Mayuri is alive. I’m alive. Everyone’s alive.” His sobs grew louder and his grip tightened. “It’s all over… we’re on the Steins;Gate worldline. No one has to suffer anymore.”

Okabe sighed dramatically as he fell onto the sofa in the lab. 40°C. 104°F. 313°K. It was so horribly humid and hot, he felt like he was being baked alive inside his clothes. “It’d be a lot easier on you if you took off the lab coat, y’know,” an exhausted voice called out from behind him, to be specific in front of the opened fridge, trying to improvise for the lack of air conditioning.A story in which Okabe and Kurisu attempt not to melt in the summer heat, spend time together with lots of banter, end up cuddling and attempt to kiss.
