Summary
A sickfic set during the 2006 Doctor Who Christmas Special: The Runaway Bride.
Overworked and overwhelmed, David prioritises his job over his health. It was only a matter of time before his unhealthy routine caught up to him. As it turns out, ignoring your body isn't the best idea and doesn't tend to solve anything. But refusing help doesn't work when the person you're trying to convince is just as stubborn as you are.

As Alex tries desperately to navigate his life post tour, he becomes isolated. But when he suddenly finds himself busy with recording and writing a new AM album, he finds it difficult to adjust to the change. The stress causes him to sink deeper into old habits that he had already picked up again during the tour, but were slowly becoming much worse.
