Summary
The earth outside looked sick. Scarred, blemished with vine growths that pulsed faintly. “…what,” Billy whispered.
Harrington was standing a few feet away, bat clenched loosely in his hand, shoulders slumped as if something vital had been ripped out of him. His face was pale, eyes wide and unfocused, mouth slightly open.
He looked destroyed. Like someone who had just watched their worst memory crawl back out of the grave.
Billy took an involuntary step toward him. “Harrington?” The Alpha didn’t respond at first. His gaze was fixed on the windows, on the blue-lit wasteland beyond, his breathing shallow and uneven.
“No,” Harrington said finally, voice hoarse. “No, no, no…”
He dragged a hand down his face, staining it further with grime. His scent had shifted completely now—sharp panic undercut by something older, painful. “This isn’t—” He swallowed hard. “This can’t…”
Billy’s chest tightened. “What…?” he asked again, barely audible. Harrington looked at him then, really looked. And whatever he saw on Billy’s face—fear, fury, raw survival—it made his expression crumple.

Summary
Eddie ripped open his report card before he’d even made it halfway down the corridor. He didn’t care that it hadn’t been addressed to him. Wayne knew he’d open it. Wayne would probably have been more suspicious if he hadn’t. Eddie unfolded the paper. He scanned the first few lines. English F, maths F, history F. Oh no….
There was no way Steve would open a sealed envelope addressed to his father. He’d have to find his grades another way… The secretary looked at him sympathetically. “You passed the rest.” Steve nodded slowly. “So just English and maths.” “I’m afraid so.” She gave him an apologetic smile. “I’m sorry.” Steve forced his own smile. “It’s okay.” It wasn’t. Not remotely.
Summer of 1983. Eddie Munson and Steve Harrington are in summer school together. In a few years when Eddie joins the gang, they don’t realise that Steve and Eddie are more familiar than anyone knew!

He had been having recurring nightmares of the events that happened at the end of the school year, and he knew the Dursleys would not be appreciative. He just hoped they would have more mercy than they've had before.
