Summary
When Charlie is left orphaned by a plane crash during her senior year of high school, she goes to live with her Uncle Jamie in New York City.
She's not expecting him to live in one of the most expensive condos in New York. Or for him to be gone at all hours of the night to a mysterious job he refuses to talk about. And she's definitely not expecting him to look at her the way he does. (Although she thinks she might be starting to like it.)
And for Jamie's part...well, he sure as fuck isn't expecting Charlie.

Summary
“Tell me about your exes. Who hurt you?” Seungmin asks.
Chan looks up then, his mouth slightly parted. “What?”
“I can tell you’re guarded. Someone as handsome as you shouldn’t get so flustered whenever you receive a compliment, so someone in your life had to have made you feel like you weren’t.” Seungmin says.
Chan normally would feel attacked. Normally, he would scoff and shrug it off and feign confidence. But there’s no bite to Seungmin’s words. His tone was soft and even like he genuinely wanted to understand.
“Is that why you’ve been taking things super slow?” Chan asks lightly.
Seungmin laughs, “Maybe, now stop avoiding the question.”
Chan sighs, his smile falls. “It’s the past, I’m better now.”
Seungmin nods. Chan looks at him, he looks disappointed. Almost sad. Chan’s heart beats harder in his chest, his lip starts to tremble and he has to look up to stop the tears from falling. “I just, I have a hard time talking about it.”
OR; Chan goes through a journey of healing from his abusive ex boyfriends. He meets Seungmin and learns how to love and be loved.

“Eomma can’t talk right now,” You hear Jisung say. “She’s in bed with Mister Minho!”
And you have never run out of your room so fast in your life and grabbed the phone from your Jisung’s grubby little hands. “Hi Binnie!” You all but screech. “What’s up?”
“Who the hell is Mister Minho?”
“Minho’s my neighbour!” You’re quick to say. “He was helping me build my bed, it isn’t what it sounded like-“
“But I told the truth!” Jisung whines.
“Okay thank-you Sungie for being honest,” You exasperate. “Can you and your brother go brush your teeth ready for bed please?”
Jisung leaves and you feel your shoulders sag a little.
“So…Mister Minho huh?”
