Dick's parents have just been murdered when he is taken in by the Wayne family. He has no idea what to make of these strange people or their insistences that he is safe with them, that he is one of them even. But he does know that he is going to get revenge on the man who killed his parents, no matter the cost and in spite of the vigilantes who try and stand in his way.
Unbeknownst to him, there are other factors at play. And The Court of Owls wants their Gray Son.
