A Victorian A/B/O romance in which Hannibal Lecter is the future Duke of Westvale who has been away at war for the past ten years. His Grandfather has made good on a contract made shortly after Hannibal's birth to procure him a wife. It was supposed to be easy. Naturally, with the Omega, Will, given in the place of his twin sister, it is anything but, because if there is one thing Hannibal Lecter despises, it's Omegas.

Summary
First attempt at writing a chapter fic. I'll update it if people like it, I guess.
Dr. John Watson teaches psychology and calculus at Cambridge University. Dr. Greg Lestrade teaches physics and physics with calculus. They have something in common. They both have crushes on one of their students. Coincidentally, the students they like are brothers, and pretty young, which kind of turns them on; knowing it's kinda wrong. It also turns Sherlock and Mycroft on too. They just won't admit it.

However, appearances must be upheld, an elegant façade must be maintained and scandals must be avoided at all cost. A convenient marriage to the lovely Lady Harcourt therefore seems a logical choice, but the appearance of a handsome Bow Street Runner makes Mycroft wonder whether he should listen to logic when life offers him what he has always wanted.
But how can one combine 'sense and sensibility' in a world where a man must not love another man, and where a woman has little to no rights without a man's approval?
AUTHOR'S NOTE, October 2025: I never intended to pull a GRRM but it's turned out I can't get back into this story. However, one of his fellow English teachers catches his eye, and Greg finds it difficult to subtract his personal affairs from work. And similarly Mycroft Holmes starts to wonder if he is the one distracted and not his students. After all, the newbie is kinda cute.
