I thought it was time to finally stop thinking.
Player 120 couldn’t even retaliate as I took the spare MP5 from behind her back. Even as she saw me do so, she didn’t react with hostility but instead her face was plastered with utter confusion. I knew I didn’t look like a threat. I banked on that.
The gates slid open to admit the lines of pink, faceless soldiers, and I did something so inherently stupid I could hardly coincide my own actions with myself. I stepped forward, removing myself from the safety of the crowd, and took careful aim of the submachine gun, pointing it straight at the triangle-faced one.

“M-Mister Jackson? It would be an honor and a great privilege if we could hear about your feat. How the Pit is and perhaps… perhaps some tips as well for, gods forbid, anyone who might see the same fate.”
