Summary
Steve Rogers and Clint Barton's dynamic in the original run of Avengers is one of the vibiest goddamn things I've ever seen in comic books. Clint even tells Steve to wash his mouth out with soap in issue #42.
So I did. And then Steve spanked Clint, because he deserved it.

“I swear to God,” Clint muttered again. She could hear fabric rustling, like he was getting out of bed, which she hoped meant progress. “What the hell were you doing?”
“Uh, well, that’s a longer conversation.”
“You’re damn right it is.”
