Castiel was supposed to take Dean back to the beginning, where it all started (whatever the hell that meant). Instead Dean found himself trapped in a world where the supernatural didn’t exist. Superheroes, however, were making headlines…well, fuck.

Complete AU to season 4. Instead of Castiel saving Dean, it was Michael who stepped in and carried Dean’s soul out of hell. Michael recreated the Righteous Man’s body molecule by molecule using his archangel grace. Of course, using archangel grace has consequences that no one could have foreseen. Nephilim!Dean, Michael/Dean (aka Michaen). Slow burn.
