Summary
It was one thing to show up to therapy and sit for the obligated amount of time. Sure it was an inconvenience to Wes. However, if it meant keeping his job and the best partnership in the robbery and homicide department together, he could learn to make a few sacrifices.
It was another thing entirely to actually participate in whatever exercise Dr. Ryan had whipped up and actually (God forbid) feel some sort of effect of the therapy, though.

"I'm…" Steve starts, like he's actually about to tell him.
Oh God. He's about to tell him.
Eddie's staring, and Steve sees how his hand is searching the seat behind himself for the remote, probably to kill the movie, because Steve's being so weird it's making him worried.
He sighs again, breath trembling from stress and he buries his face in his hands. Leg still bouncing in place.
The TV gets turned off and the room fills with silence, and he hears Eddie shuffling around next to him.
"Steve—"
"I have a pussy now."

“Well, can’t say I’m surprised this ain’t common knowledge,” Butcher muses. “People find out all it’d take to subdue you is one good bite to the throat, you’d be outta the game faster than you can say mating bite.”
“It wouldn’t take, you brainless gorilla, I’m the strongest supe alive, you think anyone could control me like that?”
Butcher chuckles and retightens his grip. “Our positions here seem to say otherwise, eh?”
Homelander just shakes his head, clearly adamant on this, hissing quietly. “It doesn’t fucking take.”
“Guess we’ll just have to find out, huh?”
It’s the work of a second, a flash of movement before his teeth are buried in Homelander’s throat, crunching through skin and muscle like tissue paper, blood and mating fluid flooding his mouth in a rush.
Homelander is tilting his head to the side. It takes Butcher a minute to realize the ringing in his ears isn’t the rushing of his blood but something else, something softer.
It’s purring. Homelander is purring.
Butcher startles backwards, falling onto his ass.
“What,” Homelander coughs, reaching up to touch the still bleeding mark at his throat. “What the fuck did you do?”
