Briar collapsed onto his chest, panting heavily. “Mmm, Lachlan…”
“F-feck, ye feel so good… oh, feck, I love you—” He froze as the words left his mouth, realizing he said that out loud.
Briar turned her head to look at him, still breathing hard. “What… What did you just say?”
Lachlan felt mortified, his stomach turning briefly. “I— I meant— I didn’t… shite.”
He covered his face with his hands, feeling utterly embarrassed.
She gently brushed some hair out of his face, frowning slightly. “We can stop if you—”
“No!” His face grew hot with embarrassment, and he cleared his throat. “I mean— no, I… I’m not done yet.”

Summary
This is a spooky sapphic love story about a werewolf with social anxiety, a mean vampire with a seggsy accent, and a human who's curiosity might be the death of her someday. Was very loosely inspired by Twilight (I have never watched/read any of the movies/books, only memes and word of mouth) and Carmilla (I have watched and read both the web series and the original novella by Sheridan Le Fanu, big fan of both), but set in (roughly) 1860s England and make it gay(er) and polyamorous. NOTE: this is barely period piece. It WILL NOT BE COMPLETELY ACCURATE. Do not come for me in the comments, it's just a silly little gay story I started writing in my freshman year of high school.

There was the sound of the door shutting. A few footsteps.
“She’s not here?” the voice asked.
Zoey dropped her voice lower, almost conspiratorial. “No. She went out—probably won’t be back for, like… fifteen, twenty minutes.”
A beat of silence. Then a quiet chuckle. “Good. Then I can steal you for a while.”
There was a nervous little hiccup of laughter from Zoey. “Wait—don’t get too close, I’m still live—”
“I’ll stay out of frame,” the voice promised, tone coaxing.
The sound of a hand brushing fabric, then a soft shuffle—the mic catching the rustle as Zoey was pulled slightly sideways. A faint smack of lips meeting. Quick. Too quick to be mistaken.
Chat slowed to a crawl.
