    Summary of the entire work:
    Odysseus tries to end the war early with a trick and the fates (it's me) take it as a sign to whump/torment him for many, many chapters: he is captured by the Trojans (Ektor) for poisoning their waters.

    Summary of this chapter:
    Odysseus love his wife and now also Diomedes. He has some self esteem issues though. He is also about to be killed by Ektor, most likely.
